Getting Errors in deploying the table while restoring the dataset of Table

Hello Everyone,

While restoring the dataset of table ,I am getting an error occurred while deploying the report WMSPickingList_OrderPickCopy.Report, DB.
This might be because the SQL Server Reporting Services has not been installed, or is not configured correctly.
System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: '_SCM_FooterText' is not a valid report parameter name. Names of objects must be CLS-compliant identifiers.
at Microsoft.ReportingServices.Library.ReportingService2005Impl.CreateReport(String Report, String Parent, Boolean Overwrite, Byte[] Definition, Property[] Properties, Guid batchId, Warning[]& Warnings)
at Microsoft.ReportingServices.WebServer.ReportingService2005.CreateReport(String Report, String Parent, Boolean Overwrite, Byte[] Definition, Property[] Properties, Warning[]& Warnings)
Deploying rdl files for report WMSPickingList_OrderPickCopy failed.

Even on blank report, i am getting this error also.

    Hi,

    Below steps Helped me to resolve the issue,

    1. select the report from the  below path

    K:\AosService\PackagesLocalDirectory\MT(Model name)\Reports(Report name)

    Open with note pad then delete the parameter which is showing in error description, including the parameter tag (find in 2 places)

    then do save as with different name, remove the original report file then rename to the required.(Renaming is because not allowing to save, hence save as chosen)

    2.Go to visual studio and rebuild the project .

    3. then deploy the report

    But on restoring the dataset of Report ,New Parameters are being created of own. Please let me know why does it happen every time and as such I am unable to get some fields in my report.Kindly suggest on this

    Delete the parameter from report design XML, also make sure you are deleting parameter tag with the same name, instead of any other tag. Then rebuild it. The error will go away as per video, the same issue appeared which was resolved in the this way. Hope that answers the question.

    On Restoring the dataset, extra parameters are getting creating in parameters tab and when i get deleted them one by one

    Extra Parameter name is _SCM_FooterText in my report and in AOT I check with Original Report where parameter is Footer text for both in Datasets.How can I change that in xml file as on changing parameter i am getting error while building reports

    Yes it is a bug and only way is by existing XML file, to remove extra parameter name tag.

    It turned out that during the dataset restore a parameter was added. It was added at the Parameters (sub node Datasets) and the node Parameters.

    When you delete it only in the node Parameters the Error occurs.

    While removing and matching the parameters in dataset,on build the project , i am getting this error.
