Saved Views Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Hi,
I have read this documentation on saved views in finance and operations but i am unable to configure it in the rationalization form.

I am on platform update 29 of finance and operation right now.

Can someone walk me through the step for using "Saved Views" ?
Or if there's any guide available for configuring saved views in D365 Finance and operations.

Any input from the community will be appreciated

Hi Ali,

What exactly do you mean with "unable to configure it in the rationalization form"? Did you enable the preview feature already?

Pardon me for the typo mistake.

I meant to say Personalization form.

Do I need to enable the preview feature first ?

If so, can you please share the Step with me ?

You have to enable those through flighting in PU 29 as those are in preview. In frequently asked question on the link you shared , steps are given to enable those.

Thanks for your input but i have enabled the feature from feature management.

Still can not see the saved view option in Personalization.

What could be the possible reasons for not seeing the option ?

Hi Ali,

Start by exploring the feature on a list page (e.g. All customers). It is not available on all forms. See also the FAQ on the documentation: docs.microsoft.com/.../saved-views

Hi Ali,

did you get used to the saved view feature? What is your experience about it?

From my point of view it is a great feature. As I understand we do not have to export and import any personalizations anymore. Everything can be organized by one or few people in the company. I am just curious, about following questions, will be great if somebody can help me:

- the Saved Views admin is the only one (plus the sys admin) which can publish, delete and change saved views?

- what is the difference between the two possibilities called Personalization allowed and Explicit personalization allowed on the personalization form? (during my tests the same behaviour was observed by having ticked one or both params on list page all purchase orders --> no ability to personalize anything, except the implicit personalizations)

- I am missing the Organization views tab, even if I am Sys admin, Saved views admin and both params from above are enabled. Any idea?
