I need to import several hundred contacts into a single existing account. The Account Name column in the spreadsheet has a value that exactly matches just one account.
I'm getting a partial error. The contacts import but they don't belong to the matching Account. I had to do the same process last year and ended up using workflow to assign the newly imported contacts to the account.
Is there a way to import them and assign them to an existing account using the Import?

You can use Data Import Wizard to update the parent customer field on all contact which are you want to assign. Here are some useful links:
