We are using the Word Templates within Dynamics 365 and have a couple of questions regarding the formatting of the data.
Our example is an invoice so we have invoice addresses included in the Word Template, e.g. Address Line 1, 2, 3 4, 5, etc.
Not all address lines have data populated in all instances so when the template is created it puts say a blank line in the address for line 4 which doesn't look good.
How can you handle this to say if there is no data in the field then don't display it?
The second formatting issue is the formatting of numeric values, e.g. the quantity is Dynamics supports 5 decimal places so when it it output to the template it looks like 2.00000 when it should just be 2.
How can we format this?
