Date Error because of license

Hi Experts,

I have uploaded the license file in the development environment yet I received the following error when testing some postings: ''In the current company the date you have entered is outside the allowed internal (This is determined by the filter which is define by the license....''

I have retried uploading the license, restarted the instances etc yet the problem persist. What could be missing?

what type of license is it? CRONUS license?

You need to check the license as I think you have CRONUS license.

Check the license.

Hello Richard,

Agree with other members, Also check the "User Setup" in User Setup you have a fields like "Allow Posting From" And "Allow posting To".

Hi Binesh,

Have already checked that and since we want to start postings from 2015 I made sure that ''Allow Posting from'' is 1/1/2015.

Could that be causing the problem?

Its cronus license and we can use only dates in November, December, January, and February.

Hi,

In DVD demo license, you have to purchase or else contact your partner.

Could you upload the screenshot of error while you posting, so we can check.

Also possible then upload the event viewer log for that posting.

Hi Mohana,

Yes that appears to be true. I used the following procedure to upload the licenses:

-go to development environment

-select the database

-click on tools and select license infor

-uploaded the license in the DVD installation (MSSQLDatabase folder).

Is there another way I can try?

you can do things in above link only with license in DVD.

you need either partner license for development and customer license for full use..
