SSRS Report error: Error while setting server report Parameters...

Hi,

When running a report in AX2012 R3 I get the following error message when starting a report:

"Error while setting server report Parameters. Error message: The PrSJournal_PrintGandTotal_Parameter cannot be changed (rsReadOnlyReportParameter)"

The same error occur on a different report.

SQL server: 2014

Deployed the report - but still get the same Error ?

    Hi Jesper Clausen,

    I guess you have set the parameter as Internal (check box in Report - Report Parameters dialog). Uncheck that and then your report might work. if not, compile forward your data contract class it show error. if there is no error please restart the SQL Server Reporting Services > deploy your report in AOT and try generating the report it will work.

    Hi,

    I solved the Problem. I set the following properties on the Reportserver:

    1. GoTo http://<servername>/Reports

    2. Browse to the report you want to access.

    3 You will the report with textbox i suppose. Click on the properties

    4.on the left side you will see the parameters click on that.

    5. you will below list.Check checkbox for prompt User.

    Parameter Name Data Type Has Default Default Value Null Hide Prompt User Display

    After this I could run the Problem without Problems.
