BOM item not included in cost estimation in production order

Hi all!

We're in the middle of testing the costing sheet/version in an UAT environment. We have a production order with a BOM item that does not get included in the estimation. We cannot figure out why since it:

- has a costgroup (we tried other which are working in the same prod.order)

- has a costing record (planned cost)

Another question that might affect the above is that we cannot calculate the item cost from the costing version page for the Planned cost version. But from Manage cost on the released item form, it works. Perhaps this is interconnected.

Any ideas what to look for in general?

Hi Roger,

I do assume you have a node added for the Cost group in the Costing sheet? What model group is used for this BOM item and what is the costing method for this item model group?

1. yes. there is node in costing sheet

2. Model group = FIFO, for this BOM item with costing method

I hope I answered right here?

I found an interesting field and couldn't find info on this. What this Calculation field control on the BOM.
