There are some Segments without having Users/ Contacts in Dynamics 365 marketing app in RTM that their status have been remained as Getting Ready for more than 2 weeks. The getting ready segments cannot be duplicated or edited or deleted. Is there any solution of going those segments as Live or to be editable? or Should new segments be created?
How much time does it need for a segment 's status to go live from getting ready in general|?
Getting Ready status in Segment in Real time Marketing in Dynamics 365 Marketing App
Hello All,
We have the same issue, only when using Marketing Lists in segments, we tested with Static and dynamics mktg lists, as well as multiple conditions, the only issue is with the lists.
Thank you to anyone that may know why or took the time to read! :)
Getting Ready status in Segment in Real time Marketing in Dynamics 365 Marketing App
Hi, In Dynamics 365 Marketing, segments with a status of "Getting Ready" usually indicate that the system is processing and preparing the segment. However, if the status of these segments persists for more than two weeks, there may be an issue or processing delay. Our team has tried to reproduce your error, including creating a segment using conditions, manually adding a segmented user, and creating a segment that does not contain a user, all of which failed to reproduce your error.
After reviewing the official documentation, our team found these possible reasons below. First of all, according to the official documentation, a maximum of 1000 segments are allowed in an environment (the sum of manual and system creation), please check if the number of segments in your environment has reached the limit before you create this segment.
Here is the link to the official documentation. Service limits and fair use policy | Microsoft Learn Secondly, please check your query conditions for segmentation, too complex conditions or query result set is too large conditions will cause burden on the system. Finally, please check if there are any plugins in your environment that prevent the creation of a subdivision. If the cause of your problem is not one of the above three points, it may be an internal problem within the Dynamics 365 system, and I would recommend you seek Microsoft's help using the following link. https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support Additionally, the typical time it takes for a segment to go from "Getting Ready" to "Live" depends on a number of factors, including the size and complexity of the segment, the server load, and the overall performance of the Dynamics 365 environment. Typically, smaller, simpler segments may become "Live" in a matter of minutes or hours, while larger, more complex segments may take longer, sometimes up to several hours. In the meantime, if you urgently need to use a particular segment, creating a new segment may be a viable solution. However, please note that new segments may also be affected if there is an underlying issue causing the delay. I hope my answer is helpful to you!
