aag30001 table not populated with details after gl year end close is done in gp2016. how do I fix this?

hi there

I have run the gl year end close and have done all the relevant checks with regard to AA and standard gl before hand.

the year end close runs without problems but when I check in the tables I see that aag30001 is blank while all the other tables (aag3000X) are fully populated.

what could have caused this and how do I populate the aaG30001 table?

I will appreciate any help on this matter.

This is an old post, but since it has popped up -

AAG300001 is a current year GL Distribution table for AA

AAG400001 is the Historical Year GL Distribution table for AA

We learned the hard way that once you close the year and the data all moves to History, you are unable to edit AA transactions as the AAG300001 is emptied at the close of the year and this is the table that AA Transaction Edit works on (only - no adjustments to History - really a shame )

I'm sure you've already resolved this issue, but if you are still experiencing issues with the AAG30001 table during year end close, I'd recommend opening a support case for our GP engineers to take a look.
