Installation of Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise app

Posted on by 25

Our customer has bought Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise licenses.

We're trying to setup new Sandbox environment with Customer Service functionality. However on the list on available applications I can only see the following names:

  • Customer Service
  • Customer Service Pro

I'm a little lost here because I'm not sure which one I should select to have access to Customer Service Enterprise functionality?

In case of Sales it is little easier because we have Sales Pro and Sales Enterprise on the list of applications.

Any help will be appreciated.

    Hi Piotrek

You should select first app to install as following screenshot shown:

Microsoft define the two Customer Service licences as follows:

Dynamics 365 for Customer Service Enterprise goes beyond core support functionality and meets the needs of more complex customer service processes.

Dynamics 356 for Customer Service Professional is for customers with less complex service requirements who need streamlined capabilities to provide core support functionality. (Note:these two services are not meant to be combined within an organization.)

As you mentioned, you have bought Dynamics 365 Customer Service Enterprise licenses. Although the first app name not include ‘Enterprise’, it is actually Customer Service Enterprise.
