AutoReport field group

Hello,

The BP error says that several fields are not member of field groups, but I have them in AutoReport field group.

Why it gives that error? Should I have to create my own field groups to avoid this BP error?

    Notice that as the AutoReport field group is kind of a "special" field group, it could make sense for MS to consider that every field must belong to "non special" field groups.

    Hi Joni,

    To avoid this BP deviation, add few fields in AutoReport field group of your table.

    Auto report can be generated from the context menu [Right click on the table --> Add Ins --> Auto report] . The fields which are part of the "AutoReport" field group are shown on this report.

    Hi Jonui,

    I misunderstood your question earlier.

    Yes, you need to create a new field group and add your fields in the new field group to avoid the BP deviation that field is not a member of field group.

    Hi Priyanka,

    I have a table with 5 fields and all of them are in AutoReport, but anyway it gives following BP message

    "Field is not a member of a field group. Consider setting the Visible property to No, or build the user interface using field groups."

    AutoReport group does not count in this case. (It does not matter if fields are in this special group. They must be in user created group to remove this error.) Create new group as Priyanka Agarwal tell you and add field to the new group too.
