Payment Terms for Customer not reflecting in Due Date on Invoice

We recently started having issues where the due date listed on a customer invoice does not match the payment terms set up on that customer. The payment terms for a customer are March 31, 2025 is the due date and I have set up a terms of payment for March 31, 2025. I have also attached those terms to the customer account.

Are there other steps necessary to connect a customer account to the terms of payment in order for the invoice to show the correct due date?

do you use "Net" terms of payment?
please share some screenshots of terms of payment setup and sales order.

We thought we had these terms set up the same way as we did in AX2012 (for right or for wrong). We attached the terms to the invoice account. We run this payment term promotion every year for a handful of customers.

Below is a sales order for the one of the customers that is having the issue where the due date on the invoice doesn't match the terms of payment (Mar25).

I am not aware of any customization nor am I aware that it was when we had this payment term in AX2012. Our IT department also advised that they are not aware of any customizations.

I will ask my question in a different way that may I think answer the original question. Is there "standard, out of the box" terms of payment for AR in D365 F&O?
