Bookable Resource and Bookable Resource Booking is created when an Appointment is created - why?

Hi,

we use the schedule board and bookable resources to manage our call centre.  I recently created a flow that sends meeting requests as appointments (not connected to a anything customer service related at all!!) which then appear in people's outlook calendars but at the same time it is "randomly" creating a Bookable Resource Booking and Bookable resource.

This is obviously causing issues with the schedule board as these random people keep appearing for our Tier 1 Advisers to schedule appointments with.

Does anyone know of a workflow or flow that is triggered when this happens (I haven't created anything so it must be out of the box!)?

This is driving me crazy right now so any advice would be greatly appreciated?

Debra

    Hi Debra,

Please navigate to Settings > Administration > System Settings > Calendar and set that Scheduling Engine to (Default) Scheduling Engine.

Then the records will no longer be created automatically.

Or you can navigate to Resource Scheduling app > Settings > Administration > Scheduling Parameters and set the Include Appointments to Yes.

Including appointments turns off the deprecated configuration to automatically create bookings when an appointment is created.

Thanks Nya. Will changing these setting affect the Tier 1 advisers who need to schedule appointments on the schedule board or just prevent the appointments created via the flow from appearing?
