New lead from existing contact

Our clients frequently return to buy more / new products.

How do create a new lead - to get contact into sales funnel, etc. and use existing contact details? Name, phone, email, timeline,  etc.

    Hi,

    You can create lead existing contact, while setting up lead you can use first and last name and other details of the contact and when you will qualify it will show you matching dialog like below there you can select existing contact from the lookup

    Hi Gary,

    We can insert a Lead sub-grid in the Contact form, and add some mappings of the relationship, so that when we new a Lead form the Contact, existing contact details will be mapped automatically.

    Step 1. insert a Lead sub-grid in the Contact form.

    So we can see the related leads of the Contact in the sub-grid.

    Step 2. Add some mappings of lead_parent_contact relationship.

    This way, when you new a Lead form the sub-grid, the mapped fields will copy value of current Contact to the new Lead.
