ECM link in AX is failed

I added a file to ECM through the DAX Portal. I tried to open it but I got pop-up dialog said "This content cannot be displayed in a frame". Then I clicked on "Open this content in a new window" and it worked. At this point the ECM opened the correct file and file location.

When I clicked on the link again then I got another message said "Your request originated from a website that Content Server identified as potentially unsafe. please contact the Administrator".

The file consistently open successfully at the first time but failing every subsequent time.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

Since ECM is opening with IE via content server, is there anything to do with ActiveX Control?

    Hi,

Please explain what your ECM is. Are you using a standard feature of AX, an ISV or is it a customization?

Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is a software/tool used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and documents related to organizational processes. We built a custom link in AX for users to store their documents.

I just added an URL as an attachment in the Portal.

Is the error coming from the external ECM tool or within AX? Can you share a screenshot?

    Hi RH-AXC,

Not all websites allow to run in a frame. I don't know if you try to use the EP in your ECM or your ECM in the EP.

Note that the new cloud-based Microsoft Dynamics AX also does not allow to run in a frame. This is related to security if a vendor prevents this.

Maybe it would then be better to use a link and open the page in a new tabpage.
