Account number for transaction type Vendor balance does not exist.

When i post Trans for specific vendor i face the this error, posting profile is set to table and pointed to account, if i use the account direct it allows me to post if there is a financial dimension.

when i press on the account on posting profile it disappears.

Tried to add new Posting profile and poit parameter to the new one but same error. 

I have faced the same before but with account that has no transaction so i deleted it and created it again but in my current case i cannot deleted since some transactions are posted directly from GL.

    Have you already tried reaching out to the MS support? Sounds like a bug if the missing records have not been deleted by a user.

    Hi Ludwing,

    for that specific accounts it appears that some record in dimensionattributevalue table does not exist, any account you use in posting profile suppose to generate record (default dimension hierarchy ) in that table, the account i use here does not generate the record, the only way to solve it is to delete that account and recreate another one.

    the problem exist after restoring backup from another environment.

    Actually i believe i need developer help, i will  delete the posted transaction and delete all accounts then add accounts again , that suppose to solve it.

    Hello Ahmad,

    If you see the same issue in a different demo/test system for this vendor account then it might be an issut that you should analyze / debug with the help of a developer to get this fixed quickly.

    However, if you only see this issue in one of your systems then the issue might be related to something that has been setup or modified for this vendor account.

    I would suggest talking with a dev. expert first. Might be the fastest and easiest.

    All other vendors post correctly but one vendor has the issues, i have choose this vendor as table in posting profile and point it to main account.

    Hi Ludwin,

    when i choose the account type ledger and post the transaction it posts but if i choose the vendor i face the error, and yes the AP parameters is setup correctly

    What do you mean by saying ... when I use the account direct?

    Is the posting profile setup in the AP parameters?
