3rd party connection to GP Web Services and eConnect fails for some transactions but not others

Posted on by 670

Hi,

I recently upgrade/migrated a client and everything seemed to be fine with their 3rd Party, McLeod, applications that uses GP Web services and eConnect to feed XML source transactions to GP.. Now, in production, some transactions fail with what I think is a red herring on a date constraint (the constraint wants the date to have not time stamp values, all 0).

The developer is of course blaming GP and they want to see the XML transactions that are not failing.

Is there a way to get the successful XML transaction data? I am only able to pull exceptions (failed XML) data.

Thank you for any assistance.

We just had a similar problem with a custom application. Suddenly a few files came over with special characters. Make sure there a no special characters in your XML file.

    "<" to "<"

    ">" to ">"

    "\"" to """

    "'" to "'"

    "&" to "&"
