Hi,
I am having a peculiar issue after i have done the update to 10.0.12. My Import journals whcih were running via batch have started failing. The reason for that is The journal is locked by the system for processing. I am not sure which Journal Is locked. Is there any way i can find this out.
I have tried Locked by system option to be added on the Journal but does not say anything. I have 22 enteties and would be a task to find out in which entity it is an issue.
please help/advice if there is a quick fix on this.

Hi Praveens007,
There is a checkbox "SystemBlocked" on the journal header form which indicates if journal is blocked by the system. If you don't know journal type, maybe it's better to use a table browser and use LedgerJournalTable as a table name parameter.

You can also visit optimization advisor workspace and under new opportunities option see if you see see any journals are locked . If you see any message click on more info>take action where you will see all locked journals. You can use unlock journals button to unlock it.

I have tried to browse the DB but could not find anything. Also i have 22 entities. Wondering where could be this lock.

With both approaches, you need to check each legal entity one by one. With Optimization advisor, you should see a warning like this
