Hello ALL,

We have some custom requirements in which we need a web application for our users . We are running AX 2012 R3 .

We have two options for now .

1 . Start development new modules in Enterprise portal .

2. Create a ASP.NET Web Application with AIF (Application Integration Services ) .

Please suggest best solution and also pros and cons .

You should start with analyzing business requirements. You may quickly find that you can't use Enterprise Portal at all or that Enterprise Portal covers everything you need without any development, therefore trying to iterate all differences would be a waste of time.

We are currently running a in house developed (Windows form .NET) application . Now we want same application web based . Some process is linked with AX like PO , Material Receiving etc . That’s the reason we need some web application which is integrated with AX.
