Hi Friend,

user getting frequently error "An unexpected client error has occurred" and at any point for time on any form they are getting this error and then user need to reload the page. I went through the below link, but i am not sure if i will disable the feature what will be the implication, can you please guide me.

Hi Imran,

There can be different reasons for this error. It can be related to the new grid, but also caused by customizations.

Can you tell which version of the application you are using? Is it happening for all users or just one? On what form(s) does the user experience the issue? Please provide some more background information.

Hello Imran,

You would need to provide more information inorder to understand if disabling the GRID control will work. Also which environment is this DEV or UAT ? the reason being that as Andre said it can be related to the New Grid but also customizations.

This is one of the LCS link that I found where the issue is not reproducible on PU 39

Hi Imran,

Just to troubleshoot, disabling the "New Grid control" from feature management has no impact on any transaction.

I suggest you to take PRD DB back up and restore on your TEST/UAT envionment, disable the New Grid Control and check if that would fix your issue.

But as Andre mentioend, there could be other reasons as well but at least you can start first with disabling the Gird and check.

Hi Imran

I get it every now and then. I quickly glanced over the link you supplied. I don't think that error is isolated to the Grid Control. I am confident that it has nothing to do with any custom development. And more importantly there is nothing you can do about it. It's a problem on MS side. Which is something you can communicate to the client. In general it isn't too anti-productive. In my opinion the best is just to try and ignore it.

the version we are using is as follows:

Installed product version : 10.0.14 (10.0.605.20013)

Installed platform version : Update38 (7.0.5778.41503)

this error is coming on the production environment

hi imran ul haq,

we had / have the same issue. In our case it is caused by a bug in 10.0.14. We recently got information from Microsoft to update to 10.0.15. Our issues should be fixed there. After disabling the new grid our issue was gone. So we created a support request with some information like session id and so on. Because of that Microsoft was able to analyze the problem in detail.

You can check you issue in 10.0.15. Maybe it is solved there.
