Cannot launch MR Designer or Viewer due to User Profile Service

Client reported that for one of their users when she tries to launch either MR Designer or Viewer as a Citrix Published application  she immediately is greeted with this message:

The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in. User profile cannot be loaded.

I tried setting her as an admin and granting her access to all companies but that did not help.

    The error message you mentioned indicates an issue with the user profile service, which is responsible for loading and managing user profiles on a Windows system. This error typically occurs when there are problems with the user profile, such as corruption or incorrect permissions.
    I think you should check the profile folder permissions. Ensure that the user has appropriate permissions on their profile folder. The profile folder is usually located in the "C:\Users" directory and named after the user's username. Right-click the folder, select "Properties," go to the "Security" tab, and make sure the user has full control or at least read and write permissions.

    As it happens typically on Citrix or RDS boxes, user profiles can get corrupted.. 
    Have the IT admin logon to the server and go into the user profile management, then just delete that user from the profile list.
    Of course, you want the users save all their personal documents if they have some stored on this box (which is usually not recommended, unless IT has setup roaming profiles on the network). 
    Then get the user log back in and it should fix the problem as a new profile will be re-created.
