scheduled/ unscheduled machine maintenance Best practices

Are there any best practices on maintaining an internal machine park?

We are a sheet metal processing factory, and have many production machines.

I'd like to enter these machines into NAV2015, create recurring maintenance tasks and assign these tasks based on a static time interval (for instance: annual replacement of air filters)

Is there a way to do this without customising? I prefer to stick to standard functionality whenever possible. (Although it's often not)

    Hi,

The Service-modul might could help with this.

You could enter the intervals in a Service Contract.

You would just don't have to create an invoice in the end.

    Here is more information: docs.microsoft.com/.../service-service
