We have Dynamics 365 on-premise. Last week the contacts started getting updated with old data (appears the data is for the initial created on). The updates appear in the Audit History and the modified by is the user that originally created the contact. Here is what we know: 1. if we stop the async services from running on the backend server, the updates stop. 2. If we disable the offending user mailbox, it stops. 3. If we turn off server side sync for in CRM Settings and in the users Mailbox, it continues to update contacts. 4. Looking at the transaction logs, we see transactions in the SubscriptionSyncEntryOutlookBase table.
We are on Version 2104 (9.1.28.9) (DB 9.1.28.9) on-premises. We are using Exchange Online for our email server.
Does anyone have any clue what is happening or suggestions on what to look at next?
