Back date entry from POS level with gift card transaction

Hi,

I have a problem. I have system crash on one of my store and hence sale has been done manually with hard copy invoice. Now I have got system and I want to record those sale through POS level on back date. Now when I try to enter my gift card transactions POS shows it is not able to connect with HO. Can anybody suggest me how can I enter back date transaction on POS level with gift card and other real time service based functionality???

    I have Heard the following has been done but can't say i support it. In non Realtime service operation set the date back on the POS and then start POS and make sure the date on POS is the same as machine and enter a sale for that date. You would have to see how real time services handled this!

    Did you sell a gift card or was Sales paid for with gift card?

    To properly do this i would recommend using a Sales order with Backdated entry, Create a manual payment (R3 with call centre would do this)

    Hi,

    Thanks for your reply. I had changed the date of POS on back date and also the machine date. I had done simple sale and then no problem was there. But some of my sale has gift card redemption. Now when I try to punch gift card POS shows can not connect to Head office. Also if I try to sale gift card through issue gift card functionality it is not working. Now the server date(HO server date) is on current date and I can not change that since other functionalities like wholesale, purchase all are going on current date. Now how I can proceed??How to handle this rela time service based

    functionalities on back date??
