Capitalization thresholds in NAV

I am looking to find an easy way to automatically capitalize assets below our threshold of $400. Is it possible to set this up manually or automatically in NAV, so that assets added which are below this threshold are automatically expensed in their entirety in the year that they are added?

    RE: Capitalization thresholds in NAV

Users who buy such assets should already at the stage of creation of Purchase Invoice/Order realize that this is a FA or an item. If they already know this is a FA and they buy it as FA in PO, they need to create a FA card. While doing this, they can setup the useful time as one month. Thus, when running the calculation of depreciation batch job, the full amount of such asset will be depreciated to cost at the same month it has been purchased (activated). Correct setup of cost account for such depreciation would be required depending on your needs.
