Mailbox issues

Server side sync has stopped working on Dynamics 365.

To correct the issue I have re approved the mailbox's and test and enabled the mailboxes with none of the tests failing.

The Server-Side Synchronization Monitoring Dashboard is not showing any recent errors.

What would cause server side sync to suddenly stop working?

What additional steps can be taken to fix the issue?
