Dynamics CRM OOB feature for status and status reason is not working

Hi,

I have created a custom entity and placed OOB Status and Status Reason option set fields on the form When the user manually select Status: active then in the Status Reason field is filtering and the active option is available to select, But when the user is selecting Status: inactive, then Staus reason field still hold active it's not filtering it.
It should filter it and show the only an inactive option to select.

Example: Status : Active, Inactive

Status Reason: For Status Active: Open, In progress

For Status Inactive: Completed, Canceled

I have tried this in the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365, 2019 release wave 2 enabled, Server version: 9.1.0000.14759

Please kindly help with it. Thanks!

Hi,

Please add status and status reason in the header. And educate users to use the OOB Deactivate button. Please refer to the image below:
