Add Pages to RTC - NAV 2009 R2

Hi all,

I am trying to add a page to the RTC by amending menusuite 1010 (Dept - MBS). However I get an error "you do not have permission to modify. Contact your system administrator to have your permissions changed."

After reading through so many forums, it seems like we cannot edit this menu suite any more (I am using developer licence). I tried creating other menusuites for company etc but the page will not appear or is searchable in RTC.

Not sure how to make this work and I desperately want this to be visible for the users.

Could you please give me a work around?

Regards,

Tony

Select Menusuites object in object designer and press New

Select company from the options and save it as a 1090 (if it doesnot exist)

    Hi Mohana,

I did make new menu suite Company (1090) and region (1020) and I was able to add this new page but this page still doesnt appear to be searchable in the RTC. not sure whether the RTC is defaulted to menusuite Dept- MBS(1010)

    Regards,

    Tony

No, It will always pick the highest no. in that series.

Can you please save and compile the 1090 menus suite again and restart the RTC

Thanks Mohana.. I did that already but due to some unknown reason, the page 251 (General Journal Batch) doesnt appear in RTC. Since this was urgent, I have solved it by adding this page to their Profile page.

    Tony,

Whenever you add/change something to menu suite you always need to compile all the available menu suites in the database to get the change. Try compiling all the menu suites.
