Create Custom Pricing button stopped working

From Sales > Quotes > Project Price Lists > Create Custom Pricing [button]

Normally it would process the selected price list and create a custom copy (separating it from the master price list). The 'Processing' popup briefly appears, but it fails to process and complete.

No error messages, failed to, or similar. It just doesn't seem to run. Behaviour started a few days ago.

I have tried different price lists attaching and detaching but no change.

Guidance followed:

learn.microsoft.com/.../manage-project-price-lists-sales

Also, I checked in the Dynamics mobile app and tab for Project Price Lists isn't shown

    It seems like a bug.

     I suggest you create a support ticket for professional assistance following the below procedure.

    Sorry, but this was zero help.

    There is no way to link what I am asking (fault originating from Dynamics Sales app) to raise support. The virtual assistant is hopeless, e.g. mandatory form dropdowns that are unpopulated, which then can't be exited out of.

    Dynamics is allegedly an enterprise level system. This is dire following what we're becoming increasingly sure is a fault originating from system upgrade.

    Update: Fixed by the following change:

    Settings > Parameters > [Select default organisational unit] > Edit (then...)

    General > Price List Defaulting Behavior > Custom pricing options (then...)

    Change dropdown from --Select-- to Create full copy of the standard price lists

    Create Custom Pricing button works again
