Terminated employees still shown in position input grid ?

Hi all,

I noticed that if I set an employee to the termintated status :
- he's still shown in the position input screen int eh employee drop down.

I would have expected those employees to not be shown ? Or all employees even those previously terminated will be shown here forever ?

Actually it seems the terminating procedure is not followed correctly. The Terminated employee report doesn't show anything. My guess is that terminating and employee is a bit more complex than just setting its status. How should it be done ?

Hi Patrice,

It is true that employee is still available for position assignment but you have noticed that the assignment end date is coming as pre-filled which is same as the employment end date i.e. termination date and you can't clear or change that date. So, in actual you can't assign a new position to the terminated employee.
