Purchase Order Line \ Deliver Remainder field

Hello,

I'm using Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

I would like to extract the 'Deliver Remainder' field that is displayed on the PO Lines screen:

When I go to 'Form Information' it states it is this field:

But if I export the Purchase Lines via the Data Management Tool, that field does not exist. I'm assuming it must be calculated?

I'm guessing I'm going to have to extract from the Inventory Transactions. I can build an entity for this, but what will be the actual criteria - will it be for certain receipt types? Or is the field stored someplace else?

Hi Michael,

The field is a physical field on the table PurchLine. So, it is stored here. It can be indeed the case that is not part of the standard data entity. In that case, you can extend the data entity or create a new entity and include the field.

It is a physical field on the table. A new entity can be created with the required fields or you can add this field directly to the entity you are using by creating an extension.

Hello,

The field 'RemainPurchPhysical' is not a physical field in the PurchLine table - how do I retrieve the value?

Hi Michael, the answers both say that this in fact is a field on the underlying table, but it is missing from the entity. You could add it to the entity by creating an extension, or create a new data entity which includes the field.
