Existing journey touchpoint 1 getting triggered incorrectly

Hi Team,

We noticed that a user who has entered an old journey and made into a compound segment, when enter's a new journey ends up receiving old journey touchpoints.

In both cases user enters the journey through webforms and these are separate webforms for each journeys.

Please help me or share thought what could be a reason for such a trigger in the old journey when user didn't do anything there except for the fact that the id was used in old journey's at some point of time.

Regards,

Harshad Chalke

    Hi Harshad,

Could you share screenshots of old journey and new journey if possible or kindly give a detailed example of issue?

Even if a user enters a new journey, he/she will still flow to end of old journey.

    Regards,

    Clofly

    Hi Harshad2020,

please provide us with more info to understand how new and old journeys are connected and how you are building segments.

Even better would be to create a ticket and add all this information there - so that our support specialists could be involved

    Thanks Clofly,

We happened to fix this issue as we notice the issue was with the way our compound segment was arranged, it had a similar logic to the earlier segment hence the user also ended in the prior journey.

    Thanks folks,

We fixed this issue by tweaking compound segment logic, it had a similar logic to the earlier segment hence the user also ended in the prior journey.
