How do we the troubleshoot failed package deployments in PROD? Pls let me know the best approach.

Hi @CU10121822-0 You can check the deployment logs in LCS and also you can raise a MS support ticket with priority 1. Which Dynamics product are you using, is it F&O? If it is F&O is your production environment managed from LCS or Power Platform Admin Centre?

Hi @CU10121822-0 Please check the deployment logs to get more information about the deployment failure and based on that you can do the troubleshooting.
It will be different depending on lots of factors, including product, platform, hosting option. I would try to make your question a bit more specific and you will get an answer, there are experts in all the options here.

Follow below steps :
1. Login to LCS2. Go to the respective project and it's production environment.
3. Download the deployment logs file.
4. Search for the errors in the deployment logs file.
5. Understand the error message and take necessary actions according to error message.
Hi,You mentioned that your question is theoretical. In theory, a package should not fail a deployment in production. This because you first need to deploy the same package to a sandbox to check and test if all is correct.A package deployment can fail in any environment. To find the reason of the error, download the deployment logs and check the errors for more details. Some possible reasons are:
