Hi all,

Recently I was creating a new number sequence in AX 2012. I came across the method called parmSortField(integer value). What is the use of this method & what does the integer value denotes? Thanks in advance!

parmSortField(xxx) is basically the sorted value for the number of Number Sequences in a particular module.

    with little more explanation

when you will open any module and parameters form of that module. you will see Number sequences Tab , where all number sequences related to that module are appearing.

Now those all number sequences belonging to a module appear in sort order set by parmSortField
