How to connect external asset library to MS D365 Marketing

Hi all,

For some time now, we have been asking ourselves in customer projects how external DAMs (Digital Asset Management System) can be connected to MS D365 Marketing.

Various customers already use DAMs when implementing MS D365 Marketing and are reluctant to use the rather rudimentary functionalities of MS D365 Marketing's asset library.

The question(s):
>> Is there any way to drive external DAMs, such as the one from adobe or frontify from MS D365 Marketing to be able to use the assets from the third party systems in emails without switching systems?

>> Or is there at least the possibility to mirror the assets from the external system, e.g. daily at night in MS D365 Marketing? In this case, changes in the external systems (create, write, delete) should also be taken into account during the nightly mirroring.

I am very curious about your feedback!

    I don't have an answer for you but I'd love to know this as well. The existing asset library is... not great. It's a shame to have to manage all our assets in one system and then manually move them to Dynamics.

    It appears that Microsoft has now added it to the roadmap! https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=0892cd33-a09f-ec11-826d-0003ff45e043
