Does anyone no the mapping of fields from talent to CDS.

Posted on by

I'm trying to field fields from talent in CDS but can't find quit a lot of fields. For instance all fonetic name fields, search name and know as. I can't find.

Does anyone know if there is a mapping document or other way to find out which fields is located in which entity/field in CDS.

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Paul,

I found the following useful when trying to figure the entity mapping from Talent to Finance and Operations (Ops). Maybe this could help you.

I setup a data integration project between Talent and Ops in Admin.powerapps.com.

This gave me an overview over all the integration tasks and their sequence:

    2018_2D00_11_2D00_14_5F00_08_2D00_39_2D00_42.jpg

By clicking one of the tasks (i.e. JobPositions to Positions), I can see the mapping between the various source fields and the destination fields in CDS:

If you want I can explain how I set the whole integration up. It requires some setup of connections, connection sets and a data integration project in Power apps.

    Regards

    Peter T.

    Hi malin,

I found that method as well and using the advanced find. But the names of the enteties and fields differ. I was hoping that someone (@Microsoft) might have the mapping document between the two.

    regards,

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

I see that there are a lot of fields that aren't connected to the CDS. If you go to web.powerapps.com -> data -> Units (i think it's called) you can see all entities and click on them and see all fields.
