Keeping uptime solutions

Dear all,

Currently our company has Dynamics NAV working fine. However, my concern is this, since NAV does not have offline mode, may I ask what is the best way to keep the system uptime 100% (especially for Retail)

- Intergrate 3rd party like MobileNAV / Anveo... for offline use in case the internet goes down

or

- Duplicate another server and synchronize?


The system we are currently using is quite heavily customized, therefore I'm looking for a solution that is both cost-efficient and user-friendly.

    for 100% availability concentrate more on the database/sql server. there are many solutions for 100% uptime.

    This is just a idea.

    You can have a duplicate server (Database Mirroring) and then at the time of breakdown you can configure the switch over to the backup server. This can be configured using SQL.

    For this you need to get the opinion from a SQL expert.
