How to deploy/access Dynamics 365 Field Service v8.x.?

Hi folks,

I would love to try the new Field Service Mobile App (2018). This requires Dyn365 Field Service v8.x. I am confused with how to actually provision an v8.x environemnt as all organisations I know run on Field Service v7.x. Firing up a vanilla trial only gives me v7.x.

Hence, in whoch GEO is v8.x available as of today? Is there a dedicated upgrade routine that I am not aware of?
