Several ID sessions on Online Users view

Hi, Experts.

I have some questions related ID Sessions we see on Online Users screen on D365 FO (System Administration - Users - Online Users):

1) What are the events or the criteria the system uses for creating a session ID?

2) Why, even after the user logged off its session, i still see one or more ID Sessions open (same instance by the way)? Could it be a background batch task running?

    Hi Antonio,

    The session ID is created when a new instance is opened. The instances can also be some background tasks. It can be indeed related to batch jobs, but also other background sessions.

    You can go to the environment monitoring on LCS and try to find related activity.
