Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello Guys,

I am trying to activate a OOB quote record and am thrown a Invalid XML - The XML passed to the platform is not well- formed XML.

I searched online for solutions and it looks like it is a very vague issue and there is no proper solution to this issue..Any ideas? Urgent!

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for the response. Yes, it was issue with the custom logic.  The starting of a new FetchXML statement which should look like ..@"<fetch   was looking like @ "<fetch...Removed the space and that fixed the issue.

Sounds like maybe some custom code it trying to execute, and there is a bug in the code?  Some questions:

    1. Does this happen on every quote?

    2. Do ALL users see it, or just a select few?

    3. Is there any custom JS code attached to the form/entity?

    4. Are there any workflows trying to execute on status change of the quote entity?

Check these and you may find the issue.  Good luck!
