I have created a new position for an worker with future date (01/07/2022). I want to create a fixed compensation for the newly created position but it is not getting displayed in the drop down . kindly help.

Future dated position can't be assigned with fixed compensation plan as there's a query for position lookup which filters out position start date should be today or earlier. Refer the below query range defined in the application level.
qbrPositionDetailValidFrom.value(SysQuery::range(DateTimeUtil::minValue(), DateTimeUtil::utcNow()));

Is the position showing as Pending in the positions fasttab, if so when you access 'Compensation/fixed plan' from ribbon, when you do New, once you have selected the relevant 'action' the position should appear in the 'position' drop down
Thanks ClaireDJ , makes sense. I also need to future job positions effective date to be before the assignment start date. Appreciate the reply.
