Possibility to book negative timesheet lines when start/stop time is enabled

Hi, 

i have a client which is using AX Project Management module with require start\stop time option enabled for timesheets. Yet, mistakes happen and someone enters a wrong quantity of hours on the timesheet using start/stop time. 

Since Adjust transactions never allows editing the quantity of hours, i have usually used a work around = entering negative hours line in the timesheet if the wrong quantity is bigger than the correct one.  But with start/stop time functionality in place, negative quantity is impossible to be entered. 

Could someone suggest a way how to make correction in these kind of cases?

    Exactly Ludwig, that was my thought as well. I have superusers that have additional privileges as well project administrators - so one of the two groups can be the ones making corrections. And hopefully, less mistakes will be done by the users once they are aware that they need to specially report in order to get correction :)

    Hi Irina,

    Maybe only allow special users to make those corrections.

    Doing that can be achieved by making use of the standard journal functionalities.

    Might also be a learning effect if the special users address the ones who made the mistakes ;-)

    Thanks Ludwig, this can do. I would just need to think about the security roles: timesheet user to access to the hour journals or someone else to do the corrections for the timesheet users.

    Hi Irina Rizinska,

    If you specify negative hours in hour journal then the opposite vouchers will be created. I believe this should work to do the adjustment and you can aslo create and use a specifc "Category" for that, let's call it "TS-HR-AdJ" > Time sheet Hours Adjustment.

    Hello Irina,

    Another option would be using an hour journal to post those adjustments. There you should be able to enter the times in form of a figure that can be used for making corrections.
