I am fresher to Dyanamics365FO Technical could you pls explain difference between Cursor Method and args.record method
Hi Vijaya,
Cursor method refers to the current record in the form datasource. Normally it is used in extension or COC classes to get the current record in the form. Its the method available in FormDataSource class.
args.record will set or get the instance of any object to pass to called object.
Normally this is used in the forms or classes to get or set the caller record.
Based on the caller record some functionality will be done like adding range to form etc...
Also when you are calling the form or class from code you will make use of the args.record to pass the caller record.
In the called form you can make use of args.record to get the caller record. So its nothing but a parm method which gets or sets the caller record.
