we are facing an issue of RTS failing, all the calls from MPOS failed like Return Transaction, Loyalty transaction, Gift Card, and others as well. we are unable to identify the root cause of this failure, we have also reported this issue to MS but a proper response was found. Whenever the issue appears we have to reboot all the AOS machines in a production environment, once all the AOS were rebooted RTS issue is resolved. we are also unable to indentify the faulty AOS machine which is causing it.
it is hurting customer business operation.
we have observed there are a lot of calls on the retail transaction table and somehow locks appear and automatically unlock.
we have six AOS servers in the production environment and around 2 hundred thousand sale transactions each day. P-Job interval is set to 2 min and consistency check job also schedule to 5 min.
All the AOS servers are also part of the batch group, as RTS service is embedded in AOS, is there any way we can separate/dedicate some AOS only for RTS calls.
