Right, for an investment type project you typically do not accrue revenue.

This is a slightly different topic. Since it's an investment project, I don't recognize revenue, I wouldn't need to select "Yes" on the Accrue revenue box, correct? Thanks.

How is your budget control setup? Do you only check costs or also revenues? If you switch the budget control setup to warning does this make a change?

Thanks for checking in. I created a new project. In that project, I created a new budget. When I posted the Hour journal, it has the same error.

Let me switch the option in the Original budget field to see if it does anything. Is this what you are talking about? Thanks.

Hi Kim,

I assume that you use the project budget which can be found in the project budget tab/button that is available in the planning section of the project. Can you check there?

It must have been defaulted. Where do I see the item budget? Is it at the item record? Thanks

Do you have a cost budget for this item with a total of $0? If so, can you record a budget revision with the new price to verify if this fixes the issue?

Yes, last journal is journal 9. This is journal 10. Does it have anything to do with inventory? Thanks.
