Number sequence new project

As soon as I want to create a new project in AX2012, I do receive the error: Numbers could not be generated because a number sequence reference is missing. Ensure that all necessary number sequences are set up. I do not want to make use of the wizard to create all numbersequences, so can someone tell me which number sequences are mandatory for creating a new project. Thank you.

Hello Esther,

Have you checked the Project Management Parameter form - number sequence section? There are only approx. two-handful of number sequences that need to be setup there. Not sure which ones of those are all mandatory but there should be at least one for the Project number / ID.

Hi Esther,

I assume you did setup the number sequence for the projects already. If you receive the error during saving a new project, it is related to the Time and Attendance features. You then need to open the Time and attendance parameters, and setup a number sequence for the Job identification.

(Or disable the configuration key for this module)

We had the same issue. The Time and Attendance key was not enabled. We had to enable the Time and Attendance configuration key and create a number sequence for Job Id.
