Global Class in AOT

Dear Experts,

In AOT , there is a class called "Global" Why it is used, where it will be used, please tell me what is the purpose of this class, screenshot of the class is above thanks in advance.

    Hi Shabir Ahmad,

    In the AOT under System Documentation > Classes you can see a list of the kernel or system classes. System classes are not written in X++, and you cannot see their source code. You cannot add any system classes.

    Some system classes are extended by an application class of nearly the same name.  In such cases you should call the substitute application classes instead of calling the system classes that they extend.

    Thanks dear for your prompt reply,

    I got what i was looking for ,some of points are here below,please check here:

    The global class is the class that holds the standard functions used in the

    X++ development environment. If you want to add or change methods to

    the global scope of dynamics ax you can do this in the global class.

    The Global class has several methods prefixed with date used for date

    operations. To calculate next and previous date for week, month, quarter and

    year.
