Importing a Report into RTC

Nav 2009 R2

I have created a Report in Classic & used the Layout to alter it in Visual Studio, saved & complied the report & it runs from Classic, however how do i get this report into the RTC so that it can be run by others who only have RTC,

    Ian,

    Thank you for posting on the Forum. To show a custom report in the RTC, you must add the report to a page so that you can print it. There are options to promote the report so you see it in the ribbon vs just in reports dropdown, and most is explained in the following link within the documentation, it is an example, so you must choose the Page you want to add it to, but then follow the same basic steps.

    To test the report prior to adding it to a Page, you can also go to Start>Run  and run the report directly which will open the RTC and print the report. Just a temporary work around until you add it to a Page. You can do this by using the following syntax, just change the report number to the custom report ID you saved it as. It will automatically launch the default installed RTC and print the report.

    dynamicsnav:////runreport?report=206
