Since our go-live (Nov 2021), we are using Microsoft Online Exchange (smtp.office365.com) to route email out of D365 F&O (version 10.0.25).
We have a few different email templates sending emails – all of which use a different email address (xxxx@domain.com). However, all of these email addresses ‘send as’ the master account out of Exchange. Within the past month, the master email account we use to send emails has been flagged by Microsoft as having sent spam which deactivates the email account. Emails are still being sent out of F&O, but since the account is flagged, recipients are not receiving emails. We have to reactivate the account in Exchange and then resend all the emails that were sent while the account was flagged.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so, have you need able to resolve?
What are you using to route emails from F&O if not Exchange?
We are of the understanding that only one Exchange account can be the ‘master’ account. Can there be two accounts allowed to send email from F&O using Exchange?
