Hi Friends,

I am using workflow for the Purchase order, and i have one requirement whenever we cancel the delivery reminder it should not go to the workflow rather get automatically approved. To achieve this,i edit the workflow and add the condition as below on the steps:

For the delivery reminder cancellation it is working fine but when i am "request change" for the existing Purchase order, edit and again submitting to the workflow, this one is also getting approved automatically instead of going into the workflow.

HI Imran,

The condition is not constrained with a value. Try to add the value '0' in this condition.

Hi Andre,

I tried many times to put zero but when i close and reopen the form again it shows blank, so i thought system is considering zero as blank.

Hi Imran,

Have to tried to setup a condition smaller then 0.01? If you need to take care of negative quantities in orders you have to also add greater then -0.01

Hm..

Would think that your setup is based on the PO itself. Not particular lines. So the PO already has a line with a remaining quantity of zero. And therefore automatically approved.

Thinking that such requirement requires that a line based WF setup is required?

Hi Imran,

For workflow activated purchase orders, inventory transactions are created after the approval of workflow. So your delivery reminder is already zero until the PO is approved.

I looked to find other fields for you to add in your condition but, could not find anything that can help yet.

Yes, when you hit request change it will be out of these conditions so it is right.
